The Peak Colorado covers three counties in Colorado's high country: Summit, Eagle, and Park. That's Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, and Arapahoe Basin. Vail, Beaver Creek, and Minturn. Fairplay, Alma, and the South Park basin. Some of the best skiing, hiking, fishing, and mountain living in the world — all within about an hour of each other.

We're building two things: a daily conditions platform that tells you what's happening on the mountain, on the trail, and on the river right now — and an editorial guide that helps you make the most of your time in the high country, whether you live here or you're visiting for the weekend.

The Conditions Platform

Launching for the 2026-27 season, our daily conditions dashboard combines snow reports from all six major resorts, hiking trail status and closures, fishing conditions on the region's best rivers and streams, I-70 road conditions, and a 7-day mountain weather forecast — all in one place, updated every morning.

We're also developing three proprietary scoring systems: the Peak Powder Score (which resort has the best skiing conditions today), the Peak Trail Score (which trails are in the best shape), and the Peak Fishing Score (which rivers are fishing best based on real-time streamflow, water temperature, and weather data). Each score is designed to answer the question that every outdoor person in Colorado asks every morning: where should I go today?
