The Peak Colorado is a free daily conditions site covering Summit County, Eagle County, and Park County, Colorado. Each morning it publishes 0-10 scores for fly fishing, snow, hiking, and road conditions across the region. Fishing scores come from stream gauges run by the U.S. Geological Survey and the Colorado Division of Water Resources on 11 rivers, including the Blue River below Dillon Dam, the Dream Stream and Eleven Mile Canyon on the South Platte, and Cheesman Canyon. Snow scores use NRCS SNOTEL snowpack data and National Weather Service forecasts. Road status comes from CDOT COTrip. When a gauge or station does not report, the site says so instead of showing a number.
